Winbond TV Edutainment ICs is a family of IC products designed to support the fast growing market of TV-based educational and entertainment devices.

W55VG081 (Display Controller) / W55VG580 (TV Encoder) is a two-chip solution for TV based toys with 192KB mask-programmable ROM, NSTC/PAL TV out and sprite/background/color-palette functions.

W55V91 is a single chip solution for TV based toys. It includes a 16-bit MCU, Display Controller for NTSC and PAL TV systems supporting sprite/background/color-palette/text-layer, on-chip 1M byte mask programmable ROM for application program and graphics pattern, programmable sound generator and GPIO ports for switches and joysticks.

W55V92 is the enhanced version of W55V91 with 2M byte ROM, higher color and more I/Os.

W55V93 and W55V94 are the enhanced version of W55V91 and W55V92 respectively supporting CMOS sensor interface. These chips are ideal for interactive TV toys.

W55V95 (under development) supports external ROM and RAM for expanded program and graphics patterns space for advanced products. It is also ideal for cartridge-based TV toy applications.

W558C320 (32M bit) and W558C640 (64M bit) are the companion fast mask-programmable ROMs for W55V95.
