32-bit Microcontrollers Overview
W90N740 is a 32-bit ARM ®7TDMI-based MCU. It is a high performance, low cost networking oriented microcontroller. W90N740 targets at managed Ethernet switch, management board of data communications and telecommunications system, printer server, and other applications which need a feature rich and low cost communication processor. The build-in cache controller has 8K-byte I-cache and 2K-byte D-cache for accelerate program execution. Dual 10/100Mbps Ethernet MACs is enhanced by the Network Address Translator (NAT) Accelerator to achieve near-wire-speed data communication between the two ports. USB Host Controller and Root-hub on-chip control external downstream USB devices, such as printers and mass storage devices. A flexible peripheral bus supports SDRAM, flash memory and I/O devices. Additional features include on-chip UART, Timer, GPIO, Interrupt Controller and Watchdog Timer. Standard JTAG debug port is supported by leading third party ICE suppliers.
