The W681513 is a single channel PCM CODEC with pin-selectable µ-Law or A-Law companding according to ITU G.711 and G.712. It accepts a 2000kHz master clock, specially tailored to USB phone applications. The analog section is fully differential, reducing noise and improving the power supply rejection ratio. The analog output is non-inverted and an on-chip power amplifier is capable of driving 300O loads differentially up to a level of 6.3V peak-to-peak.
The device operates off a single +5V power supply and is available in SOP-20.
