Winpots (Digital Potentiometers)
The following products are EOL (End Of Life) and no longer supported by Winbond Electronics Corporation. Winbond makes every effort to inform all customers, distributors and agents about any change in status on product support, and strives to give 6 months’ notice of a planned product obsolescence in which time the customer can order lifetime buy quantities. In cases where an exact or functional replacement are available, we have listed the alternative below. In all cases, though, it is highly recommended to consult the product datasheet and/or contact your Winbond representative regarding these parts. Any product recommendations made for non-Winbond components are based on publicly available information only and are not guarantees of product performance or functional specifications.

Winbond America's line of Winpot ICs feature the most competitive digital pot solutions available. The devices offer high quality, low power consumption and competitive pricing—all features for today's demanding applications
WinPots feature ultra-low power programmable digital potentiometers boasting standby currents of less than 1µA. With resistance ranges from 10kOhms to 100kOhms, 256 taps, four programmable presets, and SPI, Up/Down, or Push-button interfaces, the WinPot ICs are ideal trimming and biasing solutions for industrial, consumer, and instrumentation applications. A selectable output buffer gives the user the option to use the WinPot as a variable resistance element or as a buffered voltage reference.
These ICs offer ultra-low power consumption, small form factor and patented resistor network—all features specifically needed in handheld, battery powered, space-critical applications. The chips are also ideal replacements for applications using mechanical potentiometers that require a high degree of performance, stability, precision adjustments or improved temperature coefficients.
