SAN JOSE, CA. - June 16, 2004
NexFlash Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in Serial Flash technology,
today announced a significant expansion of its sales organization
for the Asia/Pacific region. NexFlash has signed several distributors
- ALR, Memec Insight, Pernas Enterprise, Shenzhen Huazhou and Toptrend
Technologies - and appointed Tony Chen as country manager for Taiwan,
Hong Kong and China.
"We're seeing enormous market potential in the Asia/Pacific region
for NexFlash's entire line of spiFlash® Serial Flash memories,"

on that potential, we have put in place an extensive sales organization
of prominent distributors all managed by an experienced sales professional.

ALR, founded in 1991, is one of Hong Kong and China's leading electronic
components distributors. Its core business is industrial electronics
distribution and providing customers with value-added design.
Memec Insight is a division of the global semiconductor distributor,
Memec, Inc.. Memec Insight was created to serve advanced-technology
semiconductor suppliers. A team of highly trained field applications
engineers enables Memec Insight to specialize in proprietary technologies
and system-level solutions in markets such as communications, electronic
data processing (EDP)/ multimedia, industrial control, instrumentation,
contract manufacturing and the wireless sector.
Pernas is a professional agent for local and worldwide semiconductor
manufacturers. Founded in 1984, the company has been successful
in servicing component needs in the computer, communications, consumer,
multimedia and related industries.
Shenzhen Huazhou was established in 2001 and features an expansive
array of product lines in a wide range of industries including automotive,
consumer electronics, digital instrumentation and network communications.
Toptrend, founded in 1993, is a technology-oriented semiconductor
sales company and solutions provider. The company focuses its expertise
on memory, microcontroller, power-management, LAN, and telecommunications
devices.
Extensive Semiconductor Experience
With 18-years of industry experience, Tony Chen (CHEN CHIU SHAN)
will lead the sales efforts for NexFlash's line of Flash memories
in that rapidly growing region. Mr. Chen reports directly to Frank
Reynolds, NexFlash's vice president of worldwide sales.
Chen brings to NexFlash an extensive history in semiconductor sales
and management experience. He previously was Far East area sales
manager at Catalyst Semiconductor, where he managed direct accounts,
as well as the company's distributors in the region. Prior to Catalyst
Semiconductor, Chen served as sales director for the Taiwan office
Future Electronics and previously held sales and management positions
at Zilog Asia, Oki Semiconductor and Acer Seretec.
