Information Storage Devices, Inc. Files For Public Offering Of Common Stock

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 21, 1995 -- Information Storage Devices, Inc. (ISD), (NASDAQ:ISDI) today announced the filing of a Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a public offering of 3,900,000 shares of Common Stock. Of those shares 1,500,000 shares are being offered by the Company and 2,400,000 shares are being offered by selling shareholders. The Company will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling shareholders.

The Company plans to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, working capital, foundry partnership opportunities and possible acquisitions. The foundry partnerships are anticipated to involve certain investments by ISD and/or pre-payment for foundry services. Additionally, the Company is in discussions with various entities regarding possible acquisition of all or a part of certain entities. The acquisition of one or more of these entities is expected to provide the Company with more products without any dependency upon existing foundries.
