Job Description	RESPONSIBILITIES: -The Application Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing reference designs with full HW and SW support and Create Eval boards, SDKs, and development tools to support our Audio Codec semiconductor product line. -Perform system level analysis (teardown analysis) of Audio products; it should lead into competitive product definition. -Act as a technical liaison to manage 3rd party partnership programs (engineering evaluation & Ref. design program) -Interfacing with design engineers for silicon de-bug as well as performing system level signal integrity analysis. -Contribute to product definition, prototype evaluation, bench system test development & product release. -Full documentation packages are also expected.
Qualifications	EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: -Experience in design of Mixed Signal Circuits and/or Knowledge of relevant system design techniques in audio products with expertise in at least one of the following areas:- Audio circuit design, ADC/DAC design, Low power design techniques, Layout techniques -Candidates must meet the minimum requirements; -5+ years of SW/HW development and/or applications support experience in the embedded system area for Voice Processing (system level experience). -Experience in Echo cancellation and Knowledge of Bluetooth, hands free car kit and IP desktop phone applications would be considered as an asset. -Must have system hardware design experience in mixed signal audio circuits and be familiar with Audio CODECs. -Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer interface skills, presentation skills, and the ability to communicate ideas and specifications to a technical audience. -Prior experience in audio engineering (Analog and Digital) is preferred
