Job Description	**This position is located in Austin, TX** RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provide post-sale technical support to customers who using integrated circuit (IC) products for desktop, notebook and server applications. -Provide pre-sale technical support and assist company sales staff in introducing and promoting IC products to major desktop, notebook and server OEMs. -Prepare and present technical presentations and training sessions on various IC products to internal sales staff as well as customers. -Participate and represent the company in PC industry related trade shows and conferences. Develop and/or set up technical demonstrations to promote IC products in these events. -Support the product line in developing product collateral material such as datasheets, applications notes and other documents. -Support the product line in the bring-up and validation process of new IC products. -Help the product line in getting the latest information on customers, partners and competitors plans including new products and technologies.
Qualifications	EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: -University degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Software Engineering. -Minimum 5 years of experience in PC hardware applications and integrated circuit (IC) products. -Desired professional experience *At least two years of PC BIOS expertise *Familiar with x86 assembly *At least two years of Windows device drivers expertise *Real-time and Embedded expertise *Familiar ARM7/9 architecture *Good understanding of general PC architecture *Experience with developing BSPs (Board Support Package) *Familiarity with Embedded Linux OS a plus -Good problem solving skills. -Good customer-oriented skills such as communications, presentation and relationship development skills. -Requires extensive travel in US, and modest international travel.
